Paragon Flight training aircraft maintenance
Flight School Partnerships

We're a Flight School.
We Understand Your World.

Paragon Flight is an active flight training operation. When we maintain your training fleet, we bring the perspective of operators who live with the same pressures you do — AOG urgency, regulatory compliance, and keeping aircraft available for students.

The Paragon Difference

Maintained by Operators, Not Just Mechanics

Most maintenance shops have never run a training operation. We have. That changes how we approach every job.

We Are a Flight School

Paragon Flight is an active flight training operation. We understand training schedules, student checkride timelines, and the pressure of keeping aircraft available. We don't just maintain training fleets — we operate one.

We Understand AOG Urgency

A grounded training aircraft means cancelled lessons, delayed checkrides, and lost revenue. Our team prioritizes AOG situations and communicates proactively so you can reschedule students rather than waiting in the dark.

Regulatory Expertise

100-hour inspections, AD compliance, return-to-service documentation — we know the regulatory requirements for Part 91 training operations inside and out. Your aircraft will be maintained to the letter of the FARs.

Parts Inventory for Common Trainers

We stock high-wear parts for Cessna 172, Piper Archer, and Piper Pilot 100i aircraft — the most common training fleets in the Southeast. Same-day turnaround on tires, brakes, filters, and more.

Fleet Expertise

We Know the Aircraft Your Students Fly

Our mechanics have thousands of hours of hands-on experience with the most common training aircraft in the Southeast. We are not learning on your fleet — we have already logged the time.

Piper

Pilot 100i (PA-28-181)

We operate approximately 15% of all Piper Pilot 100i aircraft ever manufactured — more hands-on experience with this specific airframe than any other shop in the Southeast.

Cessna

172 (All Variants)

Paragon Flight operated a fleet of Cessna 172s from 2006 to 2022. Thousands of inspections completed across Skyhawk, SP, S, and Nav III variants with Lycoming and Continental engines.

Piper

Archer (PA-28-181)

The Archer is the predecessor to the Pilot 100i and shares the same basic airframe. Our PA-28 experience extends across all generations of this aircraft.

Cessna

182 Skylane

A popular complex trainer and cross-country aircraft. We have extensive experience with the 182's Continental O-470 and IO-540 powerplants.

02

Annual Inspections

Comprehensive airworthiness inspections per FAR Part 43 Appendix D. We coordinate scheduling across your fleet to avoid taking multiple aircraft down simultaneously.

Aircraft on Ground? Call Us First.

We understand that a grounded training aircraft is not just a maintenance problem — it is a scheduling problem, a student problem, and a revenue problem. We prioritize AOG situations and communicate proactively throughout the repair process.

Common Questions

Flight School Maintenance FAQ

Do you work with Part 141 flight schools?

Yes. We are familiar with the maintenance documentation requirements for Part 141 operations and can provide the records and sign-offs your operations manual requires. Contact us to discuss your specific documentation needs.

Can you service our entire fleet across multiple aircraft types?

Yes. We service Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, and Cirrus piston aircraft at all three locations. If your fleet includes multiple types, we can handle all of them under one maintenance relationship.

How do you handle scheduling to minimize fleet downtime?

We work with your dispatch schedule to stagger inspections so you are never taking multiple aircraft down simultaneously. For 100-hour inspections, we can often schedule around your busiest training days.

Do you provide loaner aircraft while ours is in maintenance?

We do not provide loaner aircraft, but our efficient turnaround times — typically 1–2 days for 100-hour inspections — minimize the impact on your training schedule.

What locations do you serve?

We operate at Page Field (KFMY) in Fort Myers, FL; Punta Gorda Airport (KPGD) in Punta Gorda, FL; and LaGrange Callaway Airport (KLGC) in LaGrange, GA. Flight schools within a reasonable distance of any of these airports are welcome to contact us.

How do we get started?

Contact us at [email protected] or call (239) 274-3170. We'll discuss your fleet, your schedule, and what a maintenance partnership would look like for your operation.
